LINEO RELEASES LINEO uLINUX CE EDITION BSP
FOR i386 VIA EPIA-M BOARD

TOKYO, December 9 - Lineo Solutions, Inc. (Lineo), a leading provider of embedded Linux solutions, today announced the release of Lineo uLinux Consumer Electronics Edition (CE Edition) Board Support Package (BSP) for the VIA EPIA-M series, VIA EPIA-ME6000.
Tatsuya Takeuchi, CTO, Lineo Solutions, Inc. said, "For the developer of embedded Linux systems and applications, availability of the i386 board systems should provide common background for better understanding and evaluating ever developing Linux technology."
"VIA EPIA-M board is available worldwide at relatively modest price", added Akira Kobayashi, Executive Director, Engineering, Lineo Solutions, Inc., "that uLinux CE Edition BSP for the VIA EPIA-M board shall become an ideal universal platform for embedded engineers who had been working on other operating systems or real-time systems to learn and understand Linux technologies and start developing embedded Linux systems and applications."
The BSP is provided as a snap-in for Lineo "uLinux ELITE" (ELITE), Lineo's embedded Linux cross development environment.
