LINEO RELEASES uLinux CE EDITION BSP
FOR A-PLAT REFERENCE BOARD BY YDC

TOKYO, November 10, 2003 - Lineo Solutions, Inc. (Lineo), a leading provider of embedded Linux solutions, today announced the availability of Lineo uLinux Consumer Electronics Edition (CE Edition) Board Support Package (BSP) for A-plat reference platform with ARM 920 core CPU (TPM102) by Yokogawa Digital Computer Corporation (YDC), a leading emulator company.
The BSP is provided as a plug-in for Lineo "uLinux ELITE" (ELITE), Lineo's embedded Linux cross development environment, and supports YDC's Windows-based debug tools "advice PLUS".
"YDC's A-plat reference board is compliant with T-Engine specifications. The integrated use of "advice PLUS" and uLinux ELITE BSP via J-Tag enables product designers to debug Linux kernel and kernel source code with A-plat universal reference board for ARM 920 without being conscious of loading or booting addresses." said Yoshinobu Ushiyama, CEO, Lineo Solutions, Inc."
Lineo will demonstrate the A-plat BSP at the "Embedded Technology 2003" to be held from Nov. 12 to 14 in Yokohama, Japan and start shipping before December.
