LINEO ANNOUNCES ALLIANCE WITH
YOKOGAWA DIGITAL COMPUTER CORP.
Develop Embedded Linux for DragonBall i.MX1 (ARM920T) "A-PLAT"

TOKYO, June 23 - Lineo Solutions, Inc. (Lineo), a leading provider of embedded Linux solutions, today announced an alliance with Yokogawa Digital Computer Corporation (YDC), a leading emulator company. According to the alliance, Lineo develops and markets embedded Linux development tool for YDC's "A-PLAT" evaluation board, while conducting joint marketing activities with them.

Under the agreement, Lineo develops uLinux Consumer Electronics Edition Board Support Package (uLinux CE Edition BSP) for DragonBall i.MX1(ARM920T) "A-PLAT" evaluation board. The uLinux CE Edition BSP for DragonBall i.MX1(ARM920T) "A-PLAT" will be snapped in Lineo uLinux ELITE (ELITE), Lineo's embedded Linux cross development environment to be released on July 14th, 2003. Both Lineo and YDC will demonstrate the ELITE and BSP in their booth at the Embedded Systems Expo & Conference in Tokyo (ESEC) to be held from July 9 to 11.
