LINEO UNVEILS NEW EMBEDDED LINUX
uLinux Consumer Electronics Edition for Digital Appliances and SHDs

TOKYO, June 18 - Lineo Solutions, Inc. (Lineo), a leading provider of embedded Linux solutions, today announced the availability of new embedded Linux, "Lineo uLinux Consumer Electronics Edition" (CE Edition), just-fit for digital appliances and SHDs. Lineo, in alliance with the partners, will promote the CE Edition to develop variety of electronic devices, including leading brand products by major consumer electronics manufactures.
The CE Edition is provided as Board Support Package (BSP) for "Lineo uLinux ELITE" (ELITE), Lineo's embedded Linux cross development environment. Lineo will demonstrate the ELITE and CE Edition BSPs at the Embedded Systems Expo & Conference in Tokyo (ESEC) to be held from July 9 to 11 at Tokyo Big Sight. (Lineo Booth#: 14-44)
